Description for Internal Candidates
- Responsible for providing aesthetic services under the supervision and direction of a Physician; includes suggested skin care products and treatments that will enhance patients overall outcome; training and education to patients regarding skin care services.
*Responsibilities for Internal Candidates
- Responsible for the competent physical documented assessment (using all sources to hand including observation and communication) and subsequent preparation of appropriate treatment for a patients skin care needs based on good clinical knowledge experience and consultation with a Dermatologist/Physician.
- Perform a range of skincare treatments including facials peels microdermabrasion etc.
- Administer specialized treatments like laser therapy and lightbased procedures.
- Conduct thorough skin assessments to identify individual concerns and needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for clients considering their skin type conditions and goals.
- Recommend and apply appropriate skincare products for specific concerns.
- Perform extractions blackhead removal and other skin blemish treatments.
- Provide pre and postoperative skincare support for clients undergoing cosmetic procedures.
- Manage client expectations explaining potential outcomes and recovery periods.
- Consult with clients to understand their skincare history allergies and preferences.
- Educate clients about skincare routines product usage and lifestyle factors.
- Uphold a clean and organized treatment space following sanitation guidelines.
- Operate and maintain skincare equipment ensuring proper sterilization and hygiene.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of client information progress and treatments.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering exceptional service and results.
- Adapt to individual client needs and evolving beauty industry standards.
- Follow industry regulations and safety protocols during all procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest skincare trends technologies and product advancements.
- Collaborate with dermatologists or medical professionals for client referrals or advice.
- Maintain a record of physical findings confidentially accurately and timely
- Under the direction of the Dermatology and Facial Plastics healthcare professionals and in collaboration with the materials department maintains inventory of skin care products appropriate for the needs of the practice.
- Performs all duties in a professional and confidential manner
Qualifications :
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy or Accredited Aesthetician Program or Clinical Aesthetician Training Program
- Minimum 2 year of experience in Aesthetic department
- DOH License as Beauty Therapist
