Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced 3Ton Truck Driver for one of our transportation and logistic client in Dubai. As a 3Ton Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various destinations ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the condition of the truck assigned to you. The role requires an individual who is diligent safetyconscious and has excellent driving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport Goods: Drive a 3ton truck to deliver goods to assigned locations ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines using GPS and knowledge of local roads.
- Loading & Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when required ensuring items are secured properly to prevent damage.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular checks on the truck (fuel oil tires etc.) and report any maintenance issues. Ensure the truck is in good working condition and ready for use at all times.
- Documentation: Complete delivery paperwork including logs receipts and any necessary paperwork related to transportation and goods.
- Customer Service: Communicate professionally with customers clients and team members to ensure positive interactions and high satisfaction levels.
- Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws road safety regulations and company safety policies to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Compliance: Ensure all deliveries are compliant with industry regulations including proper handling of goods weight limits and licensing requirements.
- Report Issues: Immediately report any incidents accidents or delays to the supervisor including mechanical failures or customer complaints.
- Team Collaboration: Work with the logistics team to improve delivery efficiency and ensure all operational goals are met.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid Driver s License: A current and valid UAE Driving License with a clean driving record.
- Experience: Must be have experience driving a 3 ton truck with 2 years of professional driving experience with a proven track record in operating 3ton trucks or similar vehicles.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to load and unload goods which may include heavy lifting and work in all weather conditions.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Time Management: Ability to meet deadlines and plan deliveries effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Careful and conscientious about vehicle maintenance and goods handling.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding and adherence to safety procedures and regulations while driving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be have 2 Years experience driving 3 ton truck
- should have above two years driving license
- experience in logistics delivery or transportation.
- Familiarity with GPS systems and route planning software.
- Knowledge of handling specific types of cargo (e.g. perishable goods fragile items).
- Ability to perform basic truck maintenance (e.g. tire checks oil levels).
Working Conditions:
- Fulltime position with working hours subject to change based on delivery needs.
- Some weekend or holiday work may be required.
- The role may require extended hours on the road and overnight stays depending on the delivery schedule.
Benefits:
- Salary: AED1800 over time AED700 Food AED250 room provided by the company transport provided by the company12 hour duty 6am to 12.30 afternoon and 3.30pm to 11pm (2 hours overtime)
