We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef/Cook to join our culinary team in Dubai. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and guest preferences.
- Ensure food presentation is visually appealing and meets quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock and manage inventory to minimize waste and control costs.
- Assist in creating and developing new recipes and menus.
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance on cooking techniques and best practices.
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals during busy service periods.
- Coordinate with frontofhouse staff to meet special guest requests and dietary needs.
- Maintain all kitchen equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Stay updated on industry trends and modern cooking techniques.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Chef Cook or similar role in a restaurant hotel or catering environment.
- Indepth knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods ingredients and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle pressure during peak hours.
- Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Creativity and passion for experimenting with flavors and presentation.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
