We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Draughtsman to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our design and engineering department you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD software. Your expertise in translating concepts and ideas into precise schematics will be vital for the successful execution of various projects. You will work closely with architects engineers and project managers to ensure all designs meet the required specifications and industry standards. This position demands a keen eye for detail strong technical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members. An ideal candidate will possess a strong background in design engineering particularly in creating mechanical civil or architectural drawings. Responsibilities
- Prepare clear and accurate AutoCAD drawings based on project specifications and guidelines.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to conceptualize and refine design ideas.
- Revise and modify existing drawings as instructed by senior personnel or project leads.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes and standards including local regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation for all projects ensuring easy access and retrieval.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input for improvements or alterations to projects.
- Train and mentor junior draftsmen and interns in AutoCAD techniques and design standards.
Requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce highquality work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in drafting for mechanical civil or architectural projects.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to interpret and analyze technical specifications and drawings.
- A relevant degree or certification in drafting engineering architecture or a related field.
