Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Specialist to support the human resource functions for a major Oil & Gas pipeline construction project in Abu Dhabi. The HR Specialist will play a key role in managing HR operations ensuring compliance with local labor laws and fostering a positive work environment. This role involves supporting recruitment onboarding employee relations and performance management processes within a PMC (Project Management Consultancy) framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Support endtoend recruitment processes including sourcing interviewing and onboarding of project personnel.
- Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws company policies and projectspecific requirements.
- Coordinate and manage employee records contracts and HR documentation.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the project.
- Handle employee relations issues and provide support to address grievances and conflicts.
- Monitor and manage employee attendance leave and timesheets in collaboration with project management teams.
- Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures aligned with corporate and project needs.
- Support performance management processes including goal setting evaluations and feedback.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and project performance.
- Maintain HR metrics and reports providing insights to the management team.
- Liaise with payroll and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of salaries and benefits.
Qualifications :
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 58 years of HR experience with a focus on largescale projects in the Oil & Gas or construction industry.
- Previous experience in a PMC environment is a strong advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in HR systems and tools with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural fastpaced environment.
- Problemsolving skills with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
