الوصف الوظيفي

1.1.1    Keeps the General Manager informed of all security related matters. Depending on distribution of Fire Security responsibility coordinates with the Director of Engineering in this matter.
1.1.2    Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with security problems and loss control.
1.1.3    Liaises with local law enforcement and Fire & Safety officials.
1.1.4    Proper grooming at all times
1.1.5    Attend training classes as per schedule
1.1.6    Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments 
1.1.7    Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities
1.1.8    Reviews revises and updates Security procedures as necessary.
1.1.9    Develops job description for all Security staff
1.1.10    Trains all employees in security responsibilities.
1.1.11    Trains Security employees in all Hotel regulations and all factors affecting the operations of the hotel. Fire prevention and safety procedures basic fire fighting life saving techniques preservation of crime scene and evidence actions duties and powers where crime is detected action in crisis situations report writing public relations and psychology.
1.1.12    Supervises the daily processing in distribution of security reports to the Management.
1.1.13    Prepares monthly major incident report and annual security survey reports and submit to the General Manager.
1.1.14    Keeps all records and report concerning security matters and Hotel businesses confidential.
1.1.15    Attends and participates in Safety & Security meetings and others staff meetings as determined by General Manager.
1.1.16    Is fully trained and prepared for all emergency situations as per procedures.
1.1.17    Reviews internal policies & procedures on a regular basis to ensure maintenance of the highest level of efficiency and the best possible security to make recommendations to the Management when policy changes are required and to evaluate on a continuing basis the possible threat to Security.
1.1.18    In close coordination with the engineering department to conduct regular preventive maintenance of all safety equipment.
1.1.19    Supervises that all employees locking in with the proximity card reader located at the security post at the staff entrance.
1.1.20    Strictly controls in and out backofthehouse of contractors visitors and suppliers. Visitor passes to be issued and controlled.
1.1.21    Frequent control and supervision of all security posts including CCTV room.
1.1.22    Coordination with the Engineering and Rooms division.
1.1.23    Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the Hotels emergency procedures and is in a state of preparedness for any emergency which way occur.
1.1.24    Execution of regular technical/skills training. Is responsible for setting up and maintaining ongoing training programs in the HK & FO in conjunction with Human Resources & L & D Manager.
1.1.25    Reviews Duty Manager/Night Manager book daily and takes corrective action when security is concerned.
1.1.26    Reviews Security logbook daily and takes action if needed informs General Manager.
1.1.27    Maintains a monthly overview of vacation and public holiday balance of all security staff and delivers a monthly consolidated summary to the Director of HR.
1.1.28    If familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility
1.1.29    Establish and keeps updating the emergency manual with appropriate procedures and forms
1.1.30    In coordination with Director of Engineering prepares a comprehensive fire & safety manual and to train existing employees and new comers on a regular basis generic and with live fire drills.
1.1.31    Conducts skills/technical training within his/her area of responsibility on regular basis.
1.1.32    Very close relationship with the Police and Fire department and to make regular courtesy visits.
1.1.33    Other duties assigned.

GENERAL / MISCELLANEOUS


1.1.34    Ensures all staff is thoroughly familiar with the hotels emergency procedures and in a state of preparedness for any emergency which may occur
1.1.35    Execution of regular technical/skills training
1.1.36    Initiates Fire Fighting Training in coordination with the local authorities (Fire Brigade) on a regular basis for all Hotel departments
1.1.37    Maintains a monthly overview of vacation and public holiday balance of all his/her staff and delivers a monthly consolidated summary to the Director of HR.
1.1.38    Is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility
1.1.39    Assumes responsibility of Duty Manager when scheduled to do so
1.1.40    Other duties as assigned

SPECIAL

1.1.41    Assist in Task Force Teams for new openings

1.1.42    Carry out any other reasonable task (which may not be stated here) as requested
 


Qualifications :

University Degree in Security / Law Enforcement. Minimum 3 years in a similar role with a five star hotel preferable in the UAE.Team management skills computer skills and Excellent communication skills.
