Position: Project Engineer New Shipbuilding

Location: Dubai United Arab Emirates

Contract Details: Fulltime for our client who is a leading shipbuilding company

Our client a leading shipbuilding company in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join their team. This is a fulltime position and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of new ships from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the entire shipbuilding process from design to delivery

Develop project plans and schedules ensuring that all deadlines are met

Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient operations

Monitor progress and identify any potential issues or delays taking corrective action as needed

Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards

Manage the budget and resources for the project ensuring costeffectiveness and efficiency

Communicate regularly with clients and provide updates on the project status

Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures

Provide technical expertise and support to the project team

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

Prepare and present project reports to senior management.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Naval Architecture or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipbuilding or a similar industry

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of shipbuilding processes regulations and industry standards

Experience in budget management and resource allocation

Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Proficiency in project management software and MS Office

Fluent in English both written and spoken. (Arabic is a plus)
