Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality cost availability and reliability.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms for TAC.
• Conduct regular reviews of supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Purchasing and Procurement:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that ensure optimal pricing and quality.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders that align with production schedules and budgetary constraints.
• Monitor inventory levels and establish reorder points to avoid production disruptions.

Spare Parts and Components Management:

• Order and manage spare parts and components necessary for fulfilling production orders.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of all required materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reorder thresholds.

Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct market research to stay informed of global trends in materials and pricing.
• Track market prices for components and negotiate with suppliers for favorable pricing and terms.
• Analyze procurement metrics to identify costsaving opportunities.

Strategic Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the Production Manager to align procurement activities with production requirements.
• Work closely with the Finance Manager to manage budget allocations and conduct cost analysis.
• Participate in crossfunctional teams to support new product development initiatives.

Compliance and Standards:

• Ensure procurement activities meet regulatory requirements and quality standards specific to armored vehicle manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain procurement policies and procedures that support organizational goals.
• Prepare and submit reports on procurement activities highlighting cost savings and performance metrics.

Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the supply chain and procurement processes.
• Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.

Performance Monitoring:

• Monitor supplier performance to adhere to contractual agreements and quality standards.
• Address any supplier issues promptly to minimize production impacts.

Budget Management:

• Manage the procurement budget ensuring efficient resource use and monitoring expenses.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement procurement strategies to achieve savings.

Supplier Audits and Vendor Performance Evaluation:

• Conduct supplier audits to verify compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain a vendor performance evaluation system regularly assessing suppliers based on quality and delivery time.

Sustainability and Ethical Sourcing:

• Ensure procurement practices adhere to sustainability and ethical sourcing standards.
• Evaluate suppliers based on their environmental and social responsibility practices.

Contract Management:

• Draft review and negotiate supplier contracts.
• Maintain an organized database of all supplier contracts and agreements.

Technology Integration:

• Implement and manage procurement software and tools to enhance efficiency.
• Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend pertinent solutions.

Innovation and Development:

• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to recommend new technologies and materials.
• Propose process improvements and innovations to enhance procurement efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or a related role preferably within the manufacturing industry (armored vehicle or heavy vehicle manufacturing preferred).
• Bachelors degree in supply chain management Business Administration or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes supplier management and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English Urdu and Hindi.
• Ability to analyze market trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
• Strong organizational and timemanagement skills capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• High level of integrity and professionalism.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Understanding of UAE labor laws and procurement regulations.
