الوصف الوظيفي
- Fabricate and assemble pipe sections fittings and related components according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect and test fabricated pipes and systems to ensure they meet quality standards and are free from defects.
- Select and handle appropriate materials and tools for pipe fabrication including cutting threading and welding.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the dimensions and configuration of pipe systems.
- Perform welding and join pipes using various techniques and equipment as required.
- Ensure that all fabricated pipes and components adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
- Work with other trades and engineers to integrate piping systems into larger projects and resolve any issues that arise during fabrication and installation.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification or diploma in piping or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a pipe fabricator in the oil and gas industry. Experience with largescale projects is an advantage.
Additional Information :
- Strong knowledge of pipe fabrication techniques and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in welding and other pipe joining techniques.
- Good problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Relevant certifications in pipe fabrication welding or related trades are preferred.
