Position: Native Android Developer

Job Description:

As a Native Android Developer you will play a pivotal role in designing developing and maintaining highperformance Android applications. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams including UI/UX designers backend developers and security experts to create seamless and secure mobile experiences. The ideal candidate is someone who is not only adept in Android development but also stays abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Android Development: Design and develop robust scalable and highperformance native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Architecture and Design: Implement modern architectural patterns (e.g. MVVM MVP) and frameworks (e.g. Jetpack Coroutines) to ensure a clean maintainable codebase.
• Tool Proficiency: Utilize a comprehensive set of Android development tools and technologies including Android Studio Gradle and SDKs to build and debug applications.
• Integration: Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data exchange between the app and server.
• Security: Apply best practices for mobile security including data encryption secure authentication and adherence to OWASP guidelines to safeguard user information.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor analyze and optimize application performance ensuring responsiveness and smooth user experiences.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Write unit and UI tests to ensure highquality code and use testing frameworks such as Espresso and JUnit to identify and resolve bugs.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Android development trends tools and best practices and continuously incorporate new technologies into your work.
• Collaboration: Work closely with design and product teams to translate user requirements and business goals into technical specifications and deliverable features.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience: 3 years of professional experience in Native Android development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
• Extensive experience with Android SDK Android Studio and Gradle.
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (e.g. Live Data View Model Room).
• Experience with RESTful APIs and thirdparty libraries.
• Strong understanding of mobile security practices.
• Knowledge of backend technologies (e.g. databases serverside scripting) is a plus.
