Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- A Technical training to Degree, HNC or equivalent qualification
- NVQ or SVQ Process Hydrocarbons
- BOSIET / MEDICAL / MIST training
- Emergency Response Team Training
Job Specific Skills
- Candidates are required to have several years previous offshore Control Room Operator experience working on deep water, subsea gas production installations.
- Experience of subsea operations
- Must be able to support the objective with growing capability of the National Workforce, provide mentoring and training.
Experience
- Proactive in addressing safety issues and mitigating risk within day-to-day operations
- Competent in Functional Safety (Safety Case) requirements
- Proficient with IEC 61508/61511 and/or Performance Standards
- Understand the Joule-Thomson effect extensively
- Familiarity with Turbo-Expansion and Re-Compression
- Executing procedures for Normal Start-up, Planned Shutdown, Unplanned Shutdown, Preparation for Maintenance and Emergency Response.
- Knowledgeable in both Subsea and Topsides Operations and Safety Systems
- Knowledge with MEG Reclamation
- Knowledge with TEG Reclamation
- Subsea Hydraulic Controls
- Proficient in the following operating conditions such as, not limited to, Flow Assurance practices, working with ultra-low temperatures in Gas Processing, and Hydrate Mitigation (Methanol Recovery Units)
PC Application Skills
- IT literate with proficiency Microsoft Applications
