Responsibilities
- Maintain relationship with client and counter parts to ensure the effective delivery of quality to client expectations,
- Coach and mentor staff in quality management system and processes,
- Promotion of quality awareness and delivery of quality assurance training,
- Ensure compliance of the management system to ISO 9001:2015 and participate in client audits to meet contractual requirements,
- Development and delivery of the contract audit and assurance programme (inspections, surveillance, internal/external audits),
- Co-ordination of 3rd party auditor / inspection activities,
- Manage and maintain quality incident (IMPact) management database and deliver training,
- Participate and lead root cause analysis investigations (quality related),
- Develop, implement and review quality plans and continuous improvement plans,
- Define, Monitor and report on quality function objectives and targets,
- Facilitate quality management performance review with the contract management team,
- Provide input and maintain the contract quality risk register,
- Manage and maintain contract document register,
- Maintain work-pack register,
- Review work packs / hazard area dossiers,
- Review and approve inspection and test plans,
- Participate in project delivery meetings,
- Assure warehousing quality requirements are maintained,
- Review and approval of supplier and subcontractor quality management system and pre-qualification evaluations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated balance of industry experience at relevant level and position,
- Application of quality management processes in quality assurance:
- Management system expertise,
- ISO 9001:2015 knowledge and experience,
- Application of quality management processes,
- Develop and implementation of quality plans and continuous improvement plans,
- Knowledge and experience of audit and review of management systems,
- Establishment of quality management performance measures,
- Monitoring trends for quality management performance measures,
- Expertise and experience in root cause analysis investigations,
- Expertise in delivery of quality training,
- Knowledge and experience of construction and commissioning quality activities,
- Management of inspection activities,
- Knowledge and Experience in Supply Chain Quality Activities.
- Application of quality management processes in quality control:
- Identification and follow up of non-conformance reports including corrective actions,
- Inspection and test planning,
- Audit of suppliers for quality control requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience is a similar role:
- Lead Quality Auditor & Lead Investigator experience,
- Good planning and organisational skills,
- Sound report writing skills,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office,
- Good problem solving and interpersonal skills,
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and show initiative,
- Be flexible and adaptive in a dynamic work environment with multiple stakeholders.
