Roles And Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat patients with urological disorders such as urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate problems, and bladder issues
- Perform surgeries such as prostatectomies, cystectomies, and urinary tract reconstructions
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to manage urological conditions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for the holistic treatment of patients
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records for all patients
- Keep abreast of latest developments, techniques, and equipment in urology
- Educate patients about their conditions and provide them with information on preventive measures and treatment options
- Participate in medical conferences and seminars to share and enhance knowledge and skills
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff such as residents and interns
- Adhere to all medical ethics and standards while providing patient care
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Valid and current medical license and registration
- Board certification in urology
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical practice as a Urologist
- Thorough knowledge of urological conditions, procedures, and surgeries
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
