Periodontics

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients to assess their periodontal health and diagnose any conditions affecting their gums and supporting structures
• Develop customized treatment plans based on the patient's specific needs and concerns
• Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures to treat periodontal diseases, including scaling and root planing, periodontal pocket reduction, and dental implants
• Monitor and track the progress of ongoing treatment and make adjustments as necessary
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to maintain their periodontal health
• Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in periodontal treatments and techniques through continued education and training
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
  

Requirements

• Must hold a valid dental license and have completed an accredited periodontal residency program
• Proven experience as a Periodontist, with a strong track record of successful treatments and patient satisfaction
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and work collaboratively with a team
• Exceptional hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Proficient in using dental instruments and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise procedures
• Dedication to continuing education and staying current with advancements in the field of periodontics
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
