Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable and Receivables, General Ledger, Payroll and Utilities, Revenue and expenditure variance analysis, Capital assets reconciliations, Fixed asset activity and Tax Compliance.
Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with requirements.
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits, and file accurate and timely tax returns. Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Meet financial accounting objectives.
