A skilled Tailor is required to design make alter and repair clothing according to customers specifications and measurements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various sewing techniques a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of fabrics and garment construction.Key Responsibilities:Measure clients to ensure proper garment fit.Discuss design alteration or repair requirements with customers to ensure their satisfaction.Sew garments using needles and thread or sewing machines.Alter and repair garments according to customer specifications.Fit garments on customers to ensure they meet quality standards and fit correctly.Design and create new garments based on customer preferences and fashion trends.Handle different types of fabrics and materials understanding their properties and care instructions.Maintain sewing equipment and tools in good working condition.Keep uptodate with the latest fashion trends and techniques.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Provide excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Certification or diploma in tailoring fashion design or a related field.Proven experience as a tailor or in a similar role.Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand stitching techniques.Skills:Excellent sewing and garment construction skills.Strong attention to detail and precision.Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity.Creativity and a good sense of design and fashion.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials.Basic understanding of garment care and maintenance.Experience:At least 23 years of experience in tailoring or a related field.Work Environment:The job involves working in a tailor shop fashion boutique or a similar setting.May require standing for long periods and handling delicate fabrics and materials.May involve working with sewing machines needles and other sewing tools.Salary:The salary range for a Tailor in the UAE varies depending on experience and qualifications typically ranging from AED 2000 to AED 5000 per month.Additional Information:Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if necessary.Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.Knowledge of UAE fashion trends and customer preferences is an advantage.
