Job Specific Accountabilities
- Provides e x pert technical advice and Technical Quality Assurance for Geomechanics aspects of field Development plans .
- Proposes procedures for the minimum tests , acquisitions, and studies requ ir ed to be carried out i n the field to maintain good Geomechanics & rock mechanics model throughout the field's development.
- Reviews and critiques studies related to Geomechanics & Rock Mechanics done by E x ternal Parties (Service Companies, Consultants).
- Prepares SOW (Scope of Work), ensures Service Company validation, coordination and follow up of contracted Geomechanics studies.
- Provides assistance and mentors the Geoscientists community by lea d ing & supporting activ i t i es , technical programs and competency processes.
- Performs Geomechanics studies, data synthesis in collaboration with Field Development before implementation in reservoir models.
- Ensures close benchmarking and provides intelligence on Industry ' s Geomechan i cs best practices and innovations from technology exchanges and e x perience sharing with Operating Companies, International Oil and Services Companies, feedback from part i cipation to technical seminars and conferences.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor ' s degree in Petro-technical discipline, advanced degree is preferable .
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 10 years in Geomechanics, International e x perience is preferable .
