Supervisor - Anesthesia Technican

Qualifications

Required:

• High School diploma
• At least 3-5 years of experience in environmental service, Operating Room procedures, general Operating Room equipment and anesthesia equipment
  

Preferred

• Cell Saver and Platelet Sequestration experience preferred
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare, hotel, or anesthesia technicians preferred.
• Cell Saver and Platelet Sequestration experience preferred

Essential Functions

• The Supervisor of Clinical Anesthesia Technician will oversee the daily operation and functioning of the Anesthesia Technicians throughout the hospital, including the acquisition & obtaining of anesthesia supplies and equipment necessary for the Anesthesia Department,
• The Supervisor will work with Anesthesia leadership to determine how to best serve our patients and hospital,
• Will create staff schedule based on the needs of the hospital, and ensure payroll is complete for all Anesthesia Techs
• Responsible for daily tasks of scheduling, assigning duties, recruiting in collaboration with Director/Manager, and training,
• Ensures that staff has kept all the equipment clean and organize,
• Collaborates with biomedical and OR equipment technician for proper care, cleaning, handling and storage of all equipment in the OR and off-site locations,
• Reviews purchases and other operating expenses in collaboration with Director/Manager,
• Assists in conducting evaluation of new products to promote quality patient care, as well as cost containment,
