Storytelling & IP ScoutMENA (Contract To Permanent)
3RD UNIT is an UAEbased early stage entertainment fintech company.
We are building a digital ecosystem a launchpad for creators and a marketplace for creative digital assets enabling and democratizing access to investment in early stage entertainment intellectual property (IP).
We see an immense opportunity to scout nurture and finance nascent creative IPs tailoring them from the ground up to seamlessly integrate into film gaming and locationbased entertainment franchises right at the preproduction stage.We need the right talent to join us to build it.
This is a content and creator scouting role. In this role you will design an outreach pipeline and actively scout the MENA market (Middle East North Africa Africa) for promising creators and/or IP properties to onboard into our launchpad. Your curiosity imagination and genreagnostic approach will enable you to navigate seamlessly between genres and mediums including science fiction fantasy film gaming live events and amusement parks. This role requires intellectual curiosity excellent relationship management skills and foresight within the creative industries. Understanding our audience and proficiency in seeking both conventional and unconventional sources of intellectual property are crucial for 3RD UNITs curatorial efforts.
Role expectations:
proven experience in IP scouting / creative talent scouting / arts management
5 years in an environment rooted in MENA creative industries
ability to smoothly move between genres and mediums
a keen eye for nonconventional creators and innovative stories
strong verbal and oral communicator proven with blogs / publications / public speaking
strong networking skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships within the creative community and entertainment industry
experience or well justified interest in web3 / blockchain based technologies
fluency in English and Arabic
