LHH is looking for Safety Specialist in the Chandler area!

We are working with a commercial construction home that is continuously growing. Their corporate office is a huge, well-known and reputable company. It's a great opportunity!

This is a fun role to work with technicians, field operations and those within supply chain & logistics and ensuring they are safe! Duties:

• Assist employees with worker's compensation claims
• Conduct safety training classes and seminars
• Reporting to ensure sticking within OSHA compliance
• Continuously keeping co-workers safe, reminding them of injury concerns and updating on the most recent standard safety practice
• Assist with filling out forms with 100% accuracy
• Injury and illness reporting
• Support fleet management
• Help HR with benefit leave
• Contract-to-hire opportunity - Eligible for medical, vision and dental benefits after 60 days of employment.
  

Requirements:

• Highschool diploma and GED
• Must have at least one year of safety and compliance coordination experience
• Construction experience ideal but not required. Would love to see manufacturing and industrial backgrounds
  

Hours: Monday - Friday, full-time, 40 hours. 8 hour shift, could start from 5am - 2pm occasional Saturday required depending on projects needs. Also swing shift is available along with normal first shift.

PAY: Up to $32/hr maybe more depending on experience. Contract-to-hire position. Lots of overtime potential in beginning.
