Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA, MSc, or equivalent) .
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in power project development, with a focus on the Middle East market.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing large-scale power projects from concept to commissioning.
• Extensive experience in pre-FID activities including feasibility studies, bid/tender preparation, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of power generation technologies, desalination processes, and related infrastructure.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of effectively leading cross-functional teams and driving project success.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling, and investment appraisal techniques.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing power and desalination projects in the Middle East.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic or other is a plus.
