Salon Staff

Salon staff are responsible for providing a range of beauty and personal care services to clients ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Depending on their specific roles they may perform hair styling nail care skin care makeup application and other beauty treatments. All staff are expected to maintain a clean and welcoming environment adhere to hygiene standards and deliver excellent customer service.Key Positions and Responsibilities:Hair Stylist:Perform hair cutting styling coloring and treatments.Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and preferences.Recommend appropriate hair care products and treatments.Nail Technician:Provide manicures pedicures nail shaping and nail art services.Apply nail extensions gel and acrylic nails.Ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working order.Beautician/Esthetician:Perform facials waxing threading and other skin care treatments.Conduct consultations to determine the best treatments for clients skin types.Recommend skincare products and regimens.Makeup Artist:Apply makeup for various occasions including weddings photoshoots and events.Consult with clients to understand their desired look.Recommend makeup products and provide application tips.Receptionist:Greet clients and handle appointment bookings.Manage phone calls inquiries and client checkins/outs.Handle payments and manage the cash register.Massage Therapist:Provide various types of massages such as Swedish deep tissue and aromatherapy.Consult with clients to understand their needs and tailor treatments accordingly.Maintain a clean and calming massage area.General Responsibilities for All Positions:Customer Service:Provide friendly professional and courteous service to all clients.Address client complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.Ensure client satisfaction and build a loyal client base.Hygiene and Cleanliness:Maintain a clean and tidy work environment at all times.Follow all hygiene and sanitation protocols including sterilizing tools and equipment.Ensure all workstations are stocked with necessary supplies.Product Knowledge:Stay updated on the latest beauty trends techniques and products.Educate clients about salon services and retail products.Promote and sell salon products and services.Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other salon staff to ensure smooth operations.Assist colleagues during busy periods and share responsibilities as needed.Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.Qualifications:Education: high school Relevant certification or diploma in beauty therapy hairdressing nail technology or related field.Experience: Previous experience in a salon or similar setting is preferred.Skills:Proficiency in the relevant beauty services and techniques.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of aesthetics.Ability to handle multiple clients and tasks efficiently.Attributes:Professional appearance and demeanor.Creative and artistic abilities.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Friendly approachable and a positive attitude.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Good manual dexterity for performing beauty treatments.Stamina to perform repetitive tasks.Personal Attributes:Enthusiastic and passionate about the beauty industry.Reliable and punctual.Strong work ethic and dedication to client satisfaction.
