Your day-to-day
We are currently recruiting for a full-time Front Desk Supervisor to join our enthusiastic team at voco® Dubai. overseeing the daily operations of the front office area, ensuring efficient guest service, and supervising front office host. This role involves managing guest inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating check-in and check-out procedures, and supporting the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental goals.:
- Provide leadership and guidance to front office staff, including receptionists, concierge, and guest service agents.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, review performance metrics, and address concerns.
- Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new front office personnel.
- Ensure prompt and courteous handling of guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere in the front office area.
- Handle escalated guest issues or complaints, striving for timely resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance the guest experience.
- Coordinate front desk activities, including check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and billing processes.
- Oversee the reservation system, ensuring accuracy of bookings and availability.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front office area, including the lobby and reception desk.
- Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, schedules, and other administrative tasks as directed by the Front Office Manager.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions, reconcile daily receipts, and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, transactions, and room assignments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of service.
- Adhere to security protocols and procedures to safeguard guest information and property.
- Monitor safety and security measures in the front office area, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
