Curriculum Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum materials, including lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials, that align with educational standards and objectives.
• Collaborate with instructional designers to ensure curriculum content is engaging and effective for diverse student populations.
• Conduct research to gather relevant information and resources to inform curriculum development.
• Work closely with subject matter experts and educators to understand content requirements and incorporate feedback into curriculum materials.
• Use instructional design principles and best practices to develop interactive and engaging learning experiences.
• Review and revise curriculum materials based on feedback from stakeholders and conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology and instructional design.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience developing curriculum materials for K-12 education.
• Strong knowledge of educational standards and objectives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in using instructional design software and tools.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Possess a creative and innovative mindset in curriculum development.
