Job Title: Dental Nurse / Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dental Nurse to join our team. The Dental nurse will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining our patients' oral health through preventive dental care and patient education. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional clinical skills a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Chairside Assistance: Assist dental practitioners during a variety of dental procedures ensuring patient comfort and procedural efficiency.
• Instrument and Equipment Preparation: Prepare dental instruments materials and equipment needed for procedures ensuring proper sterilization and organization.
• Radiography: Take and develop dental Xrays under the direction of dental practitioners ensuring clear and accurate images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Patient Care: Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postprocedure care instructions promoting optimal oral health and treatment outcomes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records including treatment plans progress notes and clinical findings using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Surgical Assistance: Provide support during dental surgeries and cosmetic procedures ensuring the dentist has all necessary instruments and materials.
• Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols by sterilizing and disinfecting dental instruments and equipment maintaining a clean and hygienic clinical environment.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
• Continuing Education: Stay informed about advancements in dental nursing practices and technologies through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Dental Nursing from an accredited institution
• Valid Dental Nurse license issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
• Minimum of insert number years of experience working as a Dental Nurse in a dental clinic or healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in dental assisting procedures including chairside assistance radiography and instrument preparation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients and dental practitioners.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments and patient needs.
• Familiarity with dental software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is preferred.

Salary Negotiable subject to Experience
