Job Description:
Support, troubleshoot and resolve network issues of Cisco network equipment deployed in Enterprise customer networks such as Routers, Switches, UCS Servers, Call Managers, Voice Gateways, Firewall, VPN, AAA, Wireless access points
Responsibilities:
- Execute complex Service Activities, Remote Support, Optimization.
- An escalation resource for less experienced Agents.
Qualification:
- 3-5 years in networking industry.
- CCNP and / or relevant industry knowledge.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCVP, CWNA, CCNP, CCIE
- Configure Security Appliances ASA
- Firewall Initialization, address translation (NAT, Global, Static)
- IP routing and VLANs, Access Control Lists, Failover
- Security contexts (virtual firewall)
- Basic LAN configuration - Vlans, Trunks, Ether-channels
- STP, SPAN, RSPAN, inter VLAN routing
- LAN security- DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection
- IP source guard, private VLAN, port security.
- Routing Protocols RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
- MPLS Basic understanding of LDP, TDP, MPLS L2/L3 VPNs
- In-depth knowledge of services like DHCP, QoS, NTP, HSRP, GLBP, VRRP, ARP, NAT, ACL, PBR, GRE tunneling, IP SLA/object tracking
- SP Technologies – IGP, BGP, ISIS, Traffic Engineering, MPLS L2/L3 VPN technologies and L2 Switching.
- Hands-on CLI knowledge of IOS-XR is required
- 802.11b/g/n, 802.11 a/n and 802.11ac wireless implementations, configuration
- Troubleshooting client connection, authentication, disconnection, roaming and latency issues
- 802.11ac, 802.11n, 802.11i, 802.1x, 802.11e, Lwapp/CAPWAP, 802.11r, 802.11w and EAP
- Configuration of 1040, 1140, 1260 series and wireless integrated service routers.
