We are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Consultant or Specialist Infectious Diseases Doctor to join our team. As an Infectious Diseases Doctor at SearchPlus HR, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care and advice to patients with infectious diseases.
In this role, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of infectious diseases, including but not limited to HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, influenza, and respiratory infections. You will conduct thorough evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your dedication and expertise will help improve the health and well-being of individuals within our client organizations.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and cultures
- Diagnose and treat various infectious diseases, including HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, and respiratory infections
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments, adhering to established guidelines
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate patients and their families on infectious disease prevention and management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including specialists, nurses, and pharmacists
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as an Infectious Diseases Doctor
- Completion of a recognized residency program in Infectious Diseases
- Proven track record in diagnosing and treating infectious diseases
- Strong knowledge of infectious diseases principles, practices, and treatment options
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple cases
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
