Procurement Officer Agricultural - City Group

We are looking for a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our growing agricultural business in Dubai. You will play a critical role in sourcing and acquiring the essential supplies we need to thrive ensuring we get the best quality products at competitive prices.

**Responsibilities:**

* Manage the procurement process for a variety of agricultural supplies including:

* Plants (seeds seedlings mature plants)

* Fertilizers and soil amendments

* Irrigation equipment and supplies (hoses sprinklers timers)

* Gardening tools and machinery

* Greenhouse supplies (interlock shading materials)

* Conduct thorough market research to identify and qualify potential suppliers in the UAE.

* Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) development and issuance.

* Evaluate bids and proposals based on cost quality delivery timelines and supplier reputation.

* Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the most favorable terms.

* Manage vendor relationships and ensure ontime delivery of supplies.

* Maintain accurate and uptodate procurement records.

* Stay informed of market trends and fluctuations in agricultural supply prices.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelors degree in Agriculture Business Administration or a related field (preferred).

* Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement ideally within the agricultural sector.

* Strong understanding of procurement best practices and regulations in the UAE.

* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (a plus).

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

* A passion for agriculture and a keen eye for detail.
