SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTALIST

• The Social & Environmentalist is responsible for evaluating and mitigating social and environmental risks associated with ADOC related project.
  
• The Social & Environmentalist conducts assessments ensures compliance with environmental and social standards and regulations and develops strategies to minimize the environmental and social impact contributing to the successful execution of the project while safeguarding the organizations interests.
  
• To attain it followings are also his responsivity of the work.
  
• Preparation of scope of works for any relevant works / surveys / assessments along with relevant regulations / guidelines to fit the project purposes
  
• Project work execution as a member of project team
  
• Any coordination with internal company and with third parties
  
• Any reporting monitoring related to the work
  
• Planning and control of the project
  

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations and best practice on Environmental and Social
  
• Strong knowledge of Environment Impact Assessment which shall be applicable at Abu Dhabi onshore & offshore
  
• Strong knowledge of Social Impact Assessment which shall be applicable at Abu Dhabi onshore & offshore
  
• Knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) and other relevant software tools is a plus Basic understanding of whole system of gas turbine generator packages (electrical & rotating) and compressor
  
• Understanding of any discipline engineering incl. process piping and instruments.
