Electrical Engineer - Parsons

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Electrical Engineer (Infrastructure) to join our team! In this role you will p erform conventional and moderatelycomplex engineering assignments applying engineering techniques and analyses within a discipline.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Independently develops and/or supervises the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements. This includes defining the problem establishing the work scope preparing the budget and schedule planning the work providing technical direction and reporting the work status.

• Typical products may include detailed calculations drawings procurement documents design and installation packages proposal evaluations technical reports and detailed analyses.

• Provides support for other engineering activities as required. May supervise one or more subordinates and provide input regarding performance.

• May be assigned to a project or organizational team or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediatesize project.

• Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters Designers and lowerlevel Engineers working on the same project.

• Experience and familiarity with Dubai Local Authorities (DEWA) procedural requirements review requirements and approval requirements.

• Review the drawing & design before DEWA approval submittal. Follow up with Contractor as well as DEWA for getting approval to maintain all files and records on designated forms/format. Ensure that the contractor is not relieved of his responsibility without client authorization.

• Coordinate with DEWA/contractor for execution of LV/HV work.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering discipline.

• In addition an EngineerinTraining (EIT) Certificate may be required.

• 15 years of managing construction and supervising of building projects and infrastructure works.

• Must have the ability to develop strong working relationships with third party client consultants contractors and local authorities.

• Experience in dealing with government authorities such as DEWA RTA DM etc.

• Thorough knowledge of DEWA regulations and standards.

• Proven ability to perform in a management capacity excellent written and oral communications.

• Working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.
