Our team has partnered with a dynamic organization headquartered in Kansas City, MO in their search for a Budget Analyst to join their corporate finance team.

This is a crucial role that's part of the financial planning and analysis process, and works closely with various departments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in public accounting and has an interested in FP&A.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive budgeting and forecasting models.
• Collaborate with department heads to gather and analyze financial data for budgeting purposes.
• Review historical financial performance and identify trends to support budget assumptions.
• Prepare detailed budget reports, variance analyses, and financial forecasts for management review.
• Support the annual budgeting process by providing insights and recommendations for resource allocation.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years' relevant experience
• Public accounting audit or consulting experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required
• BI tools or budget software experience a plus
