Data Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.
• Create and maintain dashboards and visualizations to present data in an understandable and actionable manner.
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
• Develop predictive models and algorithms to support business objectives.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and provide tailored data solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits.
• Stay updated with the latest data analytics trends and tools.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects, etc.), databases (SQL, etc.), and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
• Proficiency in using statistical tools and software (e.g., R, Python, SAS) for data analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
