What you'll do (Design & Development)
- Mentor / provide support to less-experienced Partners
- Support / may lead infrastructure architecture and design; identify/scope/architect/implement solutions; suggest solutions
- May engage/collaborate with external technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions; may engage with shared services teams and vendors
- Assist in research and fact-finding to modify or enhance systems and applications
- Independently configure, enhance/update, maintain, test, and debug building automation systems/integrations
- Provide accurate work estimations; meet delivery expectations with tight time windows
- Help create technical documentation/training for system enhancements and test scenarios
- Assist with test planning, test case development, and testing
- Assist with implementation, end-to-end system integration, stabilization, and production support transition
- Support implementation of proactive automated system monitoring and alerting solutions; identify engineering tools that facilitate systems management
- Stay available to provide support during escalation of incidents
- Assist with documentation and closure of follow-up action items from significant incidents and recurring incidents
- May assist with technical design reviews
- Support implementation of small to medium integrations of building automation systems
- You should attend all design development meetings and walk-throughs
Who You Are
- You have a related degree or comparable training, certification, or work experience
- You have 2+ years of experience configuring, enhancing, and maintaining building automation/integration systems
- You have experience as a systems integrator
- You understand the development lifecycle/processes
- You have analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- You have an ownership mentality
- You have highly collaborative and interpersonal skills
- You have experience with construction/building automation documentation (Blueprints, mechanicals, specifications, etc.)
- You are able to travel for work
- You can manage and maintain relationships with partners, architects, vendors, business and design teams
- You have an understanding of protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Networking, etc.
- Controls and Automation systems experience preferred
