Role
In this role you will be the technology risk and compliance champion for a large organization focused on Digital Experiences, Marketing Technology, Data Science and AI/ML. You will:
- Run the technology risk and compliance program for the Unit CIO.
- Assess technology risk and compliance requirements for the group.
- Find opportunities to mitigate or reduce the risk.
- Manage and report technology risk and compliance items.
- Lead a small team of engineers and analysts to implement the program.
- Collaborate with leadership across the group to progress risk and compliance initiatives and mandates.
- Create reports and provide status update to senior leadership on technology risk and compliance items.
- Automate compliance and/or risk processes to improve engineering team efficiency.
- Be our technology risk and compliance scout and identify potential risks.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technology management, Technology Operations, Computer Science or a similar field
- 8+ years of technology leadership experience
- Demonstrated experience in technology risk and compliance management.
- Executive level communication and presentation skills.
- High confidence level knowledge of technology, recent tech advancements, understanding of the latest industry trends and their impacts on technology risk and compliance (e.g. GenAI, AI governance, Privacy and Consent, Application security etc.).
- Flexible to both lead the way and deep dive alongside a team when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Executive presence and confidence while working with senior leaders.
- Comfortable with frequent context switching.
- Ability to research and synthesize information with minimal direction.
- Previous engineering management experience.
- Resilience in face of complex and potentially difficult paths.
Salary Range: $145,000.00 to $230,000.00 annually + bonus + equity (if applicable) + benefits
