The CoFounders of a burgeoning startup in the UAE are searching for a creative and meticulous Senior Product Designer to join their team building a benefits superplatform for the Middle East. Were looking for a candidate with strong experience in User Experience Research Product and Brand Design with a global focus. The team will be building additional capabilities in areas including brand design industrial design motion design data visualisation and design operations. The successful person is fundamental to driving and overseeing product design within the company design strategy and operations to achieve the wider vision of the business at large.

Were looking for an outstanding Senior Product Designer who wants to transition into a Head of Product Design role within a fast paced company and build a worldclass product design function for the best fintech products on the market.

Responsibilities

• Execute across all phases of design work: participate in research define conceptual foundation for design solutions execute excellent UX flows apply visual design systems prototype using a variety of tools and methods create production ready designs participate or conduct usability testing and support multidisciplinary teams during implementation
• You work independently on a complex set of features collaborate with product management and engineering to arrive at optimal solutions and coordinate across teams to create a holistic merchant experience
• You proactively engage with peers and users to get feedback and optimise the end2end customer journey
• You contribute bestofclass design components and UX patterns and commit to upholding the highest standards and a shared vision
• Your design process follows a humancentred approach and you apply both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to validate your solutions
• Your excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills will help you communicate the value of design and design rational across the whole company

Qualifications

• BA or MA in Design or related fields or complementary studies with deep work experience in product design
• > 6 years of experience as a UX & UI Designer with deep expertise in one and strong skills in the other
• You know the common design tools and services
• You have designed and shipped complex web and mobile applications across the entire product development cycle
• You contribute bestofclass design components and UX patterns to the global design system and commit to upholding the highest standards and a shared vision
• You have experience in working in an agile environment and the ability to adapt quickly to changing product priorities
• Experience in applying Service Design process methods and principles is a plus

• Excellent English skills both verbal and written
