Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Operational Management, Engineering. Business Administration or a related field is required
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Lean tools and leading improvement efforts with extensive facilitation / training experience
- Past experience with coaching and engaging with senior leadership
- Experience as an operational team leader
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with key Lean tools:
- Kaizen, standard work, PDCA / Problem Solving, 5S, Gemba walking, daily management, visual management
Skills & Abilities
- Business Acumen & Critical Thinking/Problems Solving
- Ability to communicate with and present to internal and external stakeholders across all levels and functions
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to accomplish work without considerable direction
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated mastery of Lean tools and principles through a technical evaluation
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Visio)
- Willing and able to travel as needed
