Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic Bar Lounge Manager for a Japanese restaurant in Dubai. Experience in the Japanese cuisine industry is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate should have 34 years of proven experience in managing highend restaurants.

Responsibilites

• Oversee the operations of the bar lounge ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Manage inventory including ordering and stock control to meet customer demand and maintain profitability.
• Develop and maintain cocktail menus ensuring creativity and innovation while aligning with the restaurants concept.
• Train and supervise staff ensuring exceptional service standards and adherence to company policies.
• Foster a positive working environment encouraging teamwork and professional growth among team members.
• Handle customer inquiries feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the bar lounge area complying with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop marketing strategies and promotional events to drive business growth.
• Monitor financial performance analyze sales data and implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
• Stay updated with industry trends and competition to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bar Lounge Manager in a highend restaurant environment.
• Experience working in a Japanese restaurant is preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Solid understanding of beverage trends mixology and cocktail preparation.
• Knowledge of inventory management and cost control principles.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
• Attention to detail and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management or related field is preferred
