Public Affairs Specialist

EXPERIENCE: At least one full year of specialized experience comparable in scope and responsibility to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service (obtained in either the public or private sectors).

Specialized experience is experience which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, ss, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position and that is typically in or related to the work of this position.

Examples of specialized experience include but are not limited to: Recognizing and using correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling;

communicating information (for example, facts, ideas, or messages) in a brief, clear, and organized manner; producing written information, which may include technical material,

that is appropriate for the intended audience. Writing and editing doents, including press releases, newspaper, management doents, and outreach materials for press, without grammar,

punctuation and spelling errors; edit doents created by others; produce, communicate and disseminate information and ideas to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
