Draftsman - AutoCAD

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Interior Design Draughtsman with a specialization in Interior Design possessing 510 years of handson experience in interior design drafting. The ideal candidate should have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD extensive knowledge of shop drawings and preferably possess onsite experience. Proficiency in 3D software is highly desirable. This position is based in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

1. Interior Design Drafting:
   • Produce detailed interior design drawings using AutoCAD ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
   • Generate comprehensive shop drawings that align with project requirements and standards.
2. 3D Modelling:
   • Utilize 3D software to create realistic and visually appealing representations of interior designs.
   • Collaborate with the design team to transform conceptual ideas into detailed 3D models.
3. Site Experience:
   • Possess onsite experience to understand and address practical challenges in implementing interior design concepts.
   • Collaborate effectively with project managers architects and contractors during site visits.
4. Documentation:
   • Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation including drawings specifications and revisions.
   • Ensure that all design and drafting work complies with industry standards and regulations.
5. Communication:
   • Effectively communicate with the design team to understand project requirements and specifications.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to address designrelated queries and modifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Architecture or a Degree from a technical college (Draughtsman).
• 510 years of proven experience in interior design drafting.
• Specialization in Interior Design with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling software.
