- To answer all telephone calls into the Unit from both NHS & private patients and professional staff in a helpful, professional and courteous manner and to ensure all calls are dealt with politely and efficiently and rerouted appropriately.
- Deal with departmental correspondence in an efficient, timely and appropriate manner, printing & posting correspondence, collecting and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and to monitor generic email inboxes, as well as own email inboxes
- To receive and send faxes & email on behalf of the Teams/Service.
- To take appropriate messages, recording details accurately.
- To use initiative to deal with queries/problems from NHS & private patients before informing the Line Manager.
- Provide clerical support for NHS & private Clinics.
Qualifications
Person Specification Education/Qualifications Essential
- Good standard of general education to GCSE level, English & Mathematics
- Competent at Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience Essential
- Experience of working as part of a Team in an administrative or customer focused setting
