Associate Director

We have an opportunity available for an Accounting Manager. We are seeking an experienced finance professional who would be a working manager, reporting to the Controller to help manage and support core finance department functions.

Responsibilities include:
Management of firm accounting functions including general ledger and month end close processes, fixed asset reporting, cash application, budgeting process and other accounting functions. Would require aptitude to learn a variety of software platforms.
Partner with Accounts Payable manager and team to support integration of function, cross-training, backup and overflow between accounting and accounts payable team.

Will require proficiency in the firms AP workflow software (Chrome River/Emburse).
Assisting with the yearend review of financial statements, preparation of tax returns and other tax reporting requirements.
Assisting with the firms banking needs and credit card platforms.
Assisting with financial analysis requested by firm management.
Implementing enhancements to improve accounting and financial policies and procedures

This position requires an individual with 5+ years of experience in accounting with supervisory experience and a four-year accounting/finance degree.
