VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Center Architect/Consultant for our UAE operations with the following skillsets & terms and conditions: Experience: Minimum 10 yearsAcademic QualificationDegree in computer science or a related field as well as experience with data center operations and managementResponsibilities 1.Infrastructure Management: a.Design & Define Datacenter Components in terms of Storage Compute and backup. b.Understands Business requirements transforms business needs into the correct technical solutions to fulfil the business needs. c.Knowledge about latest datacenter technologies that qualifies him/her to choose the right vendor and the right productd.High and Low level design of Datacenter components and how they interface. 2.Disaster Recovery and Backup: a.Develop high/low level disaster recovery infrastructure architecture. b.Define the necessary operating model to ensure a smooth fail over to DR and a fail back.c.Develop high/low level backup infrastructure architecture design. d.Define the necessary operating model to ensure a smooth and immune backup and restoratione.Strong knowledge in Storage technologies and products. f.Develops storage tiering architecture to store hot data in performance tiers and cold data in cheap storage3.Cloud Resources Managementa.Advanced understanding of Cloud Technologies. b.Assesses onprem workloads and qualifies certain workloads to migrate to the Cloud where feasible and commercially viable c.Defines Operating Model to monitor Cloud Resources and integration between OnPrem and Cloud Resources4.Capacity Planninga.Monitor data center capacity and plan for future expansion or upgrades as needed. b.Manage resource allocation efficiently.5.Environmental Monitoringa.Monitor the data center environment ensuring optimal temperature humidity and power levels are maintained. b.Manage cooling and power systems to prevent overheating and outages. c.Develops necessary monitoring to capture Carbon footprint. Develop plans to reduce carbon emissions6.Security and Compliancea.Implement and enforce data center security policies. b.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for data protection and privacy.Terms and conditions Joining time frame: (15 30 days)The selected candidates shall join VAM Systems UAE and shall be deputed to one of the Organizations in UAE.Should you be interested in this opportunity please send your latest resume in MS Word format at the earliest at
