What you ll do as a 1099 insurance agent

• Efficiently sell home, auto, boat, life, etc insurance policies via in person meetings or via phone, email, and text
  

• Identify your own leads and analyze their insurance needs
  

• Cultivate referral networks in your community to provide ongoing lead generation
  

• Leverage technology to quote insurance coverages with multiple companies to find prospects the best fit for their needs
  

• Clearly explain insurance proposals to prospects leveraging a consultative and empathetic approach
  

• Maximize your income by identifying and capitalizing on up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and listening
  

• Insurance Licenses: Property & Casualty (required) and Life (highly recommended)
  

• Insurance sales experience
  

• Ability to multitask, strong computer, analytical, decision making, time management, and organizational skills
