الوصف الوظيفي
Our client is a reputed food & manufacturing company in the UAE that deals in its brands and private labelling across the region. They are looking to hire a Debt collection officer (Emirati National) to be based in their office inDubai.
Working days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours:8 am to 5 pm (1-hour break)
Responsibilities:
- Keep track of assigned accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Plan a course of action to recover outstanding payments
- Locate and contact debtors to inaboutire of their payment status
- Negotiate payoff deadlines or payment plans
- Handle questions or complaints
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Create trust relationships with debtors when possible to avoid future issues
- Update account status and database regularly
- Alert superiors of debtors unwilling or unable to pay when necessary
- Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following requirements:
- Associate s or bachelor s degree/diploma holder
- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field.
- Experience in debt collection /recovery operations in any business process. Freshers will also be welcome.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be UAE National
- Apt in negotiating and persuading
- Ability to be polite and compassionate without lacking confidence
