Installation Engineer

• Coordinating with other contractors or subcontractors to ensure the smooth completion of projects within time and budget constraints
• Performing maintenance on existing equipment or facilities to ensure they are operating correctly
• Consulting with clients to create design specifications for new systems
• Installing new electrical wiring, cable, or fiber optics as well as repairing existing systems
• Working with architects and engineers to ensure that designs meet code requirements for safety and efficiency
• Installing electrical systems such as lighting, switches, outlets, phone lines, and security systems
• Working with contractors or architects during construction to ensure that the plans are carried out accurately
• Evaluating existing systems to identify areas in need of repair or replacement
• Installing computer software or other equipment to meet client specifications
