Head Baker

Were starting a neighborhood sourdough bakery in Abu Dhabi and are looking for an experienced, excited, knowledgeable baker to lead the project and bring the bread experience to life.
Abu Dhabi is a unique city, full of possibilities, and the person we are looking for needs to be ready for an adventure. Working with a small, dedicated team you will help us develop and launch the bakery - one of the first such concepts in the city.

We want to bake the best bread in Abu Dhabi, and more than a point of sale, we want to gather a community of people who appreciate the product and the moments shared around it.

We are focused only on one type of bread, paired with the most authentic and sensorial experience.

About the bakery:

It will be a space dedicated to the art of doing ONE thing well: sourdough bread. Based on traditional European bakeries, the regular neighborhood spots.
Although centered around a singular product, there will be moments to experiment with bread derivatives (always with sourdough as a base), moments for trying new things, and the chance to create new menu staples.
We will introduce product pairing moments, where we will bring our southern European/mediterranean culture, to present products that make sense with quality bread (olive oil, salt, cheeses etc)
It will have a clean and sophisticated design, sharing a space with another of our passion projects, a Concept Store

About the baker:

We are looking for someone who loves bread, and who wants to make the best bread in the world.
Loves people and the community formed around bread. Someone who is as comfortable over the counter and around a table as they are doing the baking.
Someone who is willing to make a commitment to create a new brand, and a new concept, with a strong identity in a city with very few similar ventures.
Someone who can manage a team of assistants, maintaining the company culture and managing to make everything happen with joy.
Someone to give input to the set up of the bakery; from choosing the equipment, to the raw material and production schedules.
