AltaPointe Health strives to be a provider of choice in health and specialty services for people of all ages living in the Mobile Bay region and east-central Alabama. Using specialized training, best clinical practices, and innovative technology, we work to provide the best care possible in our outpatient, residential, psychiatric hospitals, and primary care settings. AltaPointe offers services to residents living in Baldwin, Clay, Coosa, Mobile, Talladega, Randolph and Washington counties. It employs more than 1500 people and serves 30,000 individuals annually. AltaPointe collaborates with the University of South Alabama to provide administration and faculty for the USA College of Medicine Department of Psychiatry. Founded in 1957, AltaPointe was formerly known as Mobile Mental Health. Today, it is Alabama’s most comprehensive behavioral healthcare company. J. Tuerk Schlesinger is its chief executive officer.
