Water Network Planning Engineer
Job Summary
- Develop and optimize the water distribution network to meet current and future demand.
- Lead the preparation of master plans feasibility studies and hydraulic simulations for new and existing networks.
- Conduct network modeling using tools such as EPANET WaterGEMS or InfoWorks to assess and enhance system performance.
- Support the implementation of asset management strategies to improve network reliability and longevity.
- Utilize AMI and network operations data for performance optimization and proactive planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams on rehabilitation plans project coordination and long-term capacity forecasting.
- Bachelors degree in Civil Environmental or Mechanical Engineering (Masters degree preferred).
- 48 years of experience in water network planning asset management or hydraulic modeling.
- Strong technical knowledge of water distribution systems hydraulic principles and infrastructure design.
- Proficiency in network simulation tools and exposure to AMI/SCADA applications in water systems.
- Excellent communication data analysis and problem-solving skills.
