Technician, CCTV
Job Summary
- Install configure test commission and maintain CCTV surveillance systems including IP and analog cameras DVRs NVRs VMS platforms and associated equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimum system performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and rectify faults related to CCTV cameras recording devices network infrastructure monitoring stations and security systems.
- Carry out cable laying termination testing labeling and documentation for CCTV and security system installations.
- Monitor system performance verify image quality and ensure full operational functionality of security surveillance systems.
- Support the integration and maintenance of access control intrusion detection and other ELV/security systems where required.
- Coordinate with Security IT Operations and Maintenance teams to resolve technical issues and support system enhancements.
- Prepare maintenance reports service records and system documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies permit-to-work requirements and oil & gas industry regulations while performing all assigned tasks.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or ITI in Electronics Electrical Engineering Telecommunications or a related discipline.
- Relevant certification in CCTV Systems Security Systems Networking or ELV systems is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a CCTV Technician.
- Experience in Oil & Gas Petrochemical Industrial Power or Infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in installation commissioning troubleshooting and maintenance of CCTV and security systems.
- Strong knowledge of IP and Analog CCTV surveillance systems.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN networks switches routers fiber optic systems and structured cabling.
