Job Title: Technical Engineer MEP
Job Summary
The Technical Engineer MEP is responsible for reviewing MEP drawings and specifications providing technical support to project teams coordinating with consultants and subcontractors and ensuring compliance with project requirements standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Review MEP drawings specifications and technical documents.
- Prepare technical submittals material approvals and method statements.
- Coordinate with consultants clients and subcontractors on technical matters.
- Resolve design and site-related technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications codes and standards.
- Support procurement by reviewing technical submissions and material selections.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of MEP works.
- Maintain technical documentation and project records.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of MEP construction experience.
- UAE/GCC experience required.
- Knowledge of HVAC Electrical Plumbing and Fire Protection systems.
- Familiarity with local authority regulations and international standards.
- Have to be in the UAE.
Required Skills:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in MEP construction projects. Experience in industrial commercial warehouse infrastructure or large-scale building projects. Strong knowledge of international quality standards inspection procedures and construction specifications. Experience working with consultants clients and subcontractors in the UAE/GCC is preferred.
